Victoria 26th June

My dear Nannie

We arrived here the day before yesterday, all well and are excessively busy organizing the parties I get one started off to Howe’s sound on Saturday. I hope you were well enough to see all your friends and enjoy your trip. And are home by this time- I am very anxious that you should keep well, but you look so thin and miserable- and fret yourself unnecessarily- I telegraph Mr. Fleming of our arrival so you will hear long before this reaches you- mail just closing love to the little ones.

Yours (inscrutable word)

M. Smith
