Once inhabiting the entire western half of the continent North of Mexico, the grizzly habitat is now resrticted to most of British Columbia, Alaska and the Northern Territories.
Environmentalists are currently up in arms by the decision of the BC government to continue to allow hunting of the majestic bear.
