 Anna Banana is a Sunshine Coast artist who is a member of the International Artistamp Network, artists from around the world who produce stamps for clients to commemorate an event. That could be anything from a family celebrating a reunion, graduation, birth or wedding, to the likes of the Vancouver Art Gallery advertising an upcoming Emily Carr exhibition, to a cruise ship offering stamps of the ship for sale in their gift shop.
In November, 2009, Brian Grant Duff at All Nations had Banana Productions create a block of 3 stamps featuring his pug Zoey, to be placed on all outgoing mail to promote the new store location. Named Pug Post, the stamps are a tongue-in-cheek suggestion that Zoey helps to deliver the mail.
Only 444 of the souvenir sheets were produced.
