For some time now, Canada Post has promoted the concept of Picture Postage. You send them one of your favourite photos, and for a small fee, they will make self-adhesive stickers for you and supply you with a "frame" of your choice which has the denomination and other official necessities. You apply your photo to your envelope, then place the "frame" on top of it.
This year, Canada Post printed 50,000 sheets specifically for the Alaska cruise ship season. The only place you could buy them was on board a cruise ship, where the staff would also produce your photo on the spot.
The sheet includes 10 self-adhesive frames of official postage, plus 3 non-postage labels.
