The 2007 Royal Canadian Mint issues

The 2007 Royal Canadian Mint issues include the following non circulating legal tender coins made for collectors:

A sterling silver Proof Dollar, bearing an image of Joseph Brant, in a native headdress, in a mintage of 60,000 pieces.

A 14 karat $100 Gold Coin, marking the 140th anniversary of the Dominion of Canada, and showing the coats of arms of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec. 5,000 pieces will be struck.

Atlantic Fishing Industry gold coin

A 22 karat $200 Gold Coin, celebrating the Atlantic Fishing Industry, and showing two fisherman hauling a net onto a Fishboat. 4,000 coins are being issued with this design.

The 2007 Specimen Set features a Trumpeter Swan Aureate Dollar, with an issue of 40,000 sets.

There are five different colourized 25c coins available so far this year, one in each of the Baby, Birthday, Congratulations, Oh! Canada!, and Wedding coin sets. We will carry a selection of these and other Mint Products, which will be included on the Royal Canadian Portion of our site, as soon as, and as long as, they are available.
